The setting is a retro-futuristic society where the victorian aesthetic is combined with modern technologies such as robots, spaceships and submarines. (The protagonist, who came into the capital city of Glennox by mistake, ends up becoming a friend of queen Cassilda and trying to reconcile the rival factions of magic users and scientists that duel for influence over the kingdom).
